Private Charters

Step aboard at Houtbay Harbor and spend time on the water with the people you choose. Whether it is an easy escape, a celebration or a day together, your private charter gives your group its own space to enjoy the bay and nearby coastline. Choose 1 hour, 3 hours or a full day. The skipper plans the route around your time aboard and the conditions, with room to slow down and enjoy the views. Add lunch, drinks or both to complete your day. All prices are per person; lunch and drinks are optional extras.

Our crew shares the stories of the coast as the route unfolds around the day’s conditions, leaving room for those unexpected moments that no itinerary can promise. Bring your curiosity, keep your camera close, and settle into a fresh perspective on the Cape’s wild beauty. We observe wildlife respectfully from a distance; sightings are natural, seasonal and never guaranteed.

Houtbay Harbor to Cape Point — the full peninsula

Coastline Explorer

The big one. From Houtbay Harbor we explore the peninsula coast, heading toward Cape Point and, when conditions permit, around into False Bay. The skipper selects the route for the day rather than promising every stop. It is a full, varied day of scenery and wildlife with a gourmet lunch on board and commentary on the history and marine life of the coast. In whale season (June–November) we route around the latest sightings.

Hout Bay Sundowner Cruise

Cast off from Houtbay Harbor for five relaxed hours around the bay and along the nearby coastline, as conditions allow. With the surrounding mountains catching the changing light and the open water ahead, there is time to slow down and enjoy the Cape from the water. Sparkling wine and light canapés are served on board while the skipper chooses a comfortable route for the day’s wind and sea conditions. We return to Houtbay Harbor after soaking up the sunset.

Beach Hopper

Depart from Houtbay Harbor for five hours exploring the bay and nearby coastline. Discover quiet coves and sheltered spots from the water, with time to swim and snorkel where conditions allow. Enjoy a picnic lunch and refreshments on board as the skipper chooses a comfortable route for the day’s wind and sea conditions. We return to Houtbay Harbor after an unhurried escape along the coast.
